Facebook infected smartphones a long time ago, so every time we pick up the latter, we check what's happening there. Similar to crossing the road, we look left and right. That is why there are Groups, where people with the same interests are under one roof, and which Facebook has now developed as an independent application.
Facebook Groups (Groups) are intended to unite and communicate between the people they associate same interest. It's a Facebook within a Facebook, of sorts theme parks. Otherwise, they were already part of mobile Facebook, but it was difficult for them to come to the fore. That's why they split off, threw everything away excess baggage and become a stand-alone application that will help users to easily get to contact with groups of which they are members (they can clearly find and join new ones as well) without having to wade through many to get there "walls".

Groups is the hub for everything related to groups. After launching the application, which is available both for android like iOS devices, the user gets ahead list of the groups to which it belongs, sorted in descending order frequency of visits. The application with this not only shortens the path to the goal, but also because of the "relieving" of the load speed up the service process. And unlike the "mandatory" application Facebook Messenger, is currently optional.
