almost anything is possible in folk tales. An ordinary iron ring has the power to fulfill any wish, the snake is no ordinary snake but a girl cursed into a snake, the snake queen wears a crown that fills the empty chest to the brim with gold, flour or soft wool. The fearsome dragon grows heads again and again, and can only be defeated by those who know how to deal with it. How? We will learn this from the fairy tale.
Folk tales they have always been a wonderful travel companion for life. With them, people learn how to face such and different tests, problems, challenges. From fairy-tale heroes we learn perseverance, kindness and compassion, we meet courage and joy. She will take us to the world of Slovenian folk tales with a chosen word Anja Štefan. For the visitors of the Ljubljana Castle, she has prepared a set of two different fairy-tale evenings, during which she will tell tales about dragons, snakes and snake queens, with musical accompaniment by Bojan Cvetrežnik.
