In two days, the floors of basketball halls will shake because of the most important basketball championship on the old continent. This time, the European Championship will be held in Slovenia for the first time, where teams from 24 European countries will take part in matches until September 22.
The hosts Eurobasket 2013, which will take place in Ljubljana, Celje, Dill and on Jesenice, prepare and provide an excellent fan atmosphere in the stands and plenty of accompanying events and activities before and after basketball games. For those basketball fans who will not have tickets for the matches Eurobasket, the broadcast of the matches will be taken care of in the fan centers, where a rich accompanying program will also take place throughout the championship.
Fan centers
They will be in Ljubljana near Stožice – The Municipality of Ljubljana will also take care of fan events in the city center at Congress square, in Koper on Ukmar's square, in Celje on Krek square and in Jesenice at Old Savi. How long fan centers will be open in individual cities depends on the cities themselves. They will open at 1:00 p.m., but since the matches will go into the night towards the end of the championship, we can expect events in the fan centers until the morning hours. The fan atmosphere will also be raised by the accompanying program, on which we can find well-known and established names of local music, such as Big Foot Mama, Hamo, Dan D, Zoran Predin, CoverLover, Mi2, as well as younger, still unknown groups: Trash Candy, Kill Kenny, Adam and others.
