An extreme athlete is coming to the 28th Slovenian Advertising Festival, who jumped from the stratosphere in 2012 as part of the Red Bull Stratos project and became the first person to independently break the sound barrier. Felix Baumgartner is a pilot and record holder in extreme skydiving.
He has broken many world records in BASE jumping and is a prominent supporter of the non-profit organization Wings for Life Spinal Chord Research Foundation. In 2012, as part of the Red Bull Stratos project, he jumped from the stratosphere and became the first person to independently break the sound barrier.
Z Red Bull has been participating since 1988, when he started performing at skydiving exhibitions. After performing the supersonic jump, Felix continued to challenge himself and push his physical limits and skills. He participated in the Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race, competed in rally races, performed a 'back flip' with a helicopter and aerobatic flight synchronized with drifting. He has received numerous awards including the Steiger Award and was inducted into the Living Legends of Aviation Hall of Fame.
