Can a boat just under 21 meters long change your idea of life on the water? The Ferretti Yachts 670 promises just that – and more. But wait, we're just getting started...
Redesigning your own model is a risky endeavor, but that's exactly what the designer did. Filippo Salvetti, when he redesigned the Ferretti Yachts 670 – his first model for the famous Italian shipyard from Forlì. According to several specialized nautical media, the new 670 is a visual and technical step forward from the 2019 original.
One of the most noticeable changes is new design of side glass surfaces. Although there are still three of them, they are now larger, more forward-leaning and aesthetically more taut. The central glass surface is in the shape of a knife blade – wider at the front and narrower towards the stern. This change visually lengthens the yacht’s profile and at the same time improves interior lighting.
Power under an elegant shell – Ferretti Yachts 670
The Ferretti Yachts 670 is equipped with two MAN V8 diesel engines, offering 1,000 or 1,200 horsepower (745 or 883 kW). According to the manufacturer and tests in nautical publications, the more powerful configuration achieves a top speed of 32 knots (59 km/h), and the cruising speed is approximately 28 knots (52 km/h).
Fuel consumption at 25.4 knots (47 km/h) is around 380 liters per hour, which with a capacity of 3,800 liters and a 10% reserve allows a range of around 233 nautical miles (432 km). The vessel weighs around 48,300 kg (106,483 lb), which is very efficient power consumption considering the capacity.
Panoramic views and light at every turn
The Ferretti Yachts 670’s superstructure design features almost 360-degree glazing, with a large panoramic windscreen and lowered side rails, allowing for unobstructed views from the saloon. The visual elegance continues with a forward-sloping roof structure that extends aft, rounding out the overall exterior appearance of the vessel.
Interior aesthetics with soul
The interior of the Ferretti Yachts 670 was designed by Italian studio Ideaitalia, offering two decorative solutions – classic and contemporary. The former features dark oak, grey textured kitchen countertops and blue accents, while the contemporary version features a lighter palette with bleached oak, grey marble finishes and a more minimalist feel.
Three cabins, each with its own oasis
The cabin layout includes three master bedrooms and three bathrooms. The central owner's cabin of the Ferretti Yachts 670 extends across the entire width of the hull and is equipped with its own dressing room, bathroom, desk and seating area with a view. The VIP cabin at the front is spacious, with increased headroom, and the third has two separate beds. The crew has their own separate cabin at the rear of the ship.
Outdoor areas for every moment of the day
The exterior areas of the Ferretti Yachts 670 are designed for maximum comfort and socializing. The aft dining table seats up to six, while the flybridge features a larger dining set for up to ten, a lounge with a view and additional sun loungers. The forward deck offers an intimate lounge with double seats and coffee tables – ideal for relaxing or watching the sunset.
Precise technology for confident control
According to Ferretti specifications and media test data, the handling is extremely easy thanks to systems such as the Xenta joystick, Zipwake trim, twin thrusters and Seakeeper NG6 stabilizer. The captain has three Simrad displays, and the upper bridge has two.
Conclusion: A work of art for sea lovers
Ferretti Yachts 670 is more than only a motorboat – is a traveling work of art that, with its shape, power and technical perfection, targets those who seek more than just a destination at sea. According to various sources in the nautical media, this yacht ranks among the most sophisticated in its class, with a thoughtful combination of design, usability and prestige.
Starting at around €2.5 million (excluding extras), it is both an investment and a lifestyle choice. While competitors such as the Azimut 66, Sunseeker Manhattan 68 and Princess F70 offer similar capabilities, Ferretti 670 stands out with a balance between Italian artistry and technical brilliance.
