The Indigo 2020 festival will take place between September 8 and 11 at various locations around Ljubljana.
Fifth edition of the festival Indigo will take place under the title "It's too late now" and under the conditions set for us by the new reality. Freedom of culture and thought therefore now has much more weight, so that we do not succumb to the lethargy and helplessness that the socio-political present fills us with.
Together with the Goethe-Institut Ljubljana and the international Hegel association Aufhebung, the organizers have prepared international philosophical conference in honor of the 250th anniversary of the birth of the German philosopher Hegel. They will be at the conference with the Maska Institute Precarity or self-management? and at accompanying events marked 100 years since the publication of the first issue of Maska. The festival program includes two other premiere performances Žigana Krajnčana, the opening of an exhibition by a world-renowned American artist by Tony Oursler, a concert Broadly, the artist's book fair Caffeine Hours and a workshop for making "bright" t-shirts.
The festival, which will take place in various locations around Ljubljana (French Revolution Square, Ljubljana City Museum, Vžigalica Gallery, ZRC SAZU Atrium, Stara mestna elektrarna – Elektro Ljubljana, National Gallery, Slovenian Youth Theatre), has free entry – except for the performances Zlitje s sammenva and Gejm. You can read more about the program on the official website of the festival.
