Between September 19 and 20, the second Science Festival will be held in Nova Gorica, which offers the public the opportunity to meet science and scientists up close, as part of a number of interesting events that will take place on the renovated Bevkov Square.
It will take place on Friday, September 19 Planetarium or else a dome-shaped "theatre", where they will be under a dome-shaped curved ceiling, which enables the projection of images and videos in the area 540 degrees, held interesting 45-minute lectures on space and astronomy, which allow participants to fully experience and learn about the many secrets of the universe. The lecture at 5 p.m. is intended for individuals and families with children from the age of 6, and at 9 p.m. it is intended for youth and adults. In addition, on Friday between 18:00 and 20:00 you can also attend a series of lectures with interesting guests about light and its influence on humans, the universe and the perception of invisible colors under the title "Faces of light“.
On Saturday, September 20, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., there will be a "Saturday scientific mornings” with interactive experiments for visitors, observing the sun with telescopes, a presentation of physical experiments and a home-made seismometer, and much more. A unique experience with which we can get to know science and the universe that surrounds us better.
