The sun is already warming us warmly and it seems only right that our thoughts are already on one of the best summer festivals in Europe. Of course, it is the Sziget 2017 festival, which will be held again on the island in the heart of the Hungarian capital between August 9 and 16. On Freedom Island this year, we will be able to witness world music names, including Kasabian, Wiz Khalifa, PJ Harvey, Alt-J, Interpol, Rita Ora, Major Lazer and more.
Already 24th edition one of the most popular European, as well as world music festivals, Sziget, will also be this year between August 9 and 16 on the Island of Freedom, as it is called by the locals and its fans. On the island, which is considered a kind of independent country, since it combines several festivals into one, it is possible to find at least 50 locations with more than 200 programs a wide variety of arts and entertainment per day.

Who will host Sziget 2017?
A celebrity is coming to visit Rita Ora, British rockers Kasabian, a rapper Wiz Khalifa, a British musician PJ Harvey, a New York trio Interpol, a Belgian DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, an Australian musician Flume, Canadian rockers Billy Talent, an electronic trio Major Lazer, Irish indie rockers Two Door Cinema Club, a British jazz-pop musician Jamie Cullum, British indie rockers Alt-J and on and on.
Of course, the list is far from complete (you can follow it here) and by August there will be more international music stars who will shine on the Island of Freedom this summer and in one united the young and the young at heart from all over the world.
