Vibra Festival 2019 invites everyone who is interested in watching and learning about dance. Performances and free lectures are open to the public.
The vibe every summer since 2013, it has been inviting top dance pedagogues, choreographers and dance creators to Ljubljana, who bring an injection dance arts and creativity. Dozens of young dancers from Slovenia and abroad in the last week of August they work together, get educated, get to know each other and connect. The festival evening has a wider audience the opportunity to see foreign and domestic performances by established choreographers, and at the closing presentation of Vibra, he also meets the young generation of dance creators.
The festival evening on August 28 will offer two dance treats: a fascinating and a dark artistic one the Canadian-Slovak duet of Clara Furey and Petr Jaska with the title Untangled Stories and the virtuoso choreography Incognito by the Spanish author Lala Ayguadé. Vibra will end with an open presentation of the results of the workshops in the Ljubljana Dance Theater, where young dancers will show short choreographies created during the workshops.
