Attention rock music fans. Finnish band Him released a new album and went on tour this year. They will stop closest to us in Vienna. The group was formed in the early nineties. Him is short for His Infernal Majasty.
They started using the abbreviation for easier recognition, as they were being confused with some other group. Lineups have changed over the years. A singer Villa Valo and a guitarist Linde and Migé have always formed the core of the group while the two keyboard players Janne Puurtinen and a drummer Mika Karppinen joined later. In April, the boys released their latest album, called Tears On Tape, and went on tour. They drove the world crazy with their hit single Join Me In Death. A lot of time has passed since then, and the guys have created many more hits like that In Joy and Sorrow, Heartache Every Moment, Close to the Flame, When Love and Death Embrace and many others. This time they will present their new artwork Tears On Tape, but of course there will be no shortage of older hits as well. They are known for energetic and elaborate concerts. If this is true, we can check for ourselves.
