FKK - Kostanjevica Culture Festival 2019 will be organized by the Kostanjevica Youth Association for the second year in a row. The three-day event will be opened on July 4 in the atrium of the Božidar Jakac Gallery by the duo Silence, and the opening will be combined with the start of the sculpture symposium Forma viva, which takes place every year under the auspices of the Božidar Jakac Gallery.
Festival organizers FKK - Festival of Culture Kostanjevica 2019 have set themselves a big challenge this year, because they extended the festival and enriched its program with more content and even more performers. The wish is that in the future FKK would continue to expand and develop into a traditional cultural festival that would become synonymous with the ultimate cultural experience and would attract visitors from all over Slovenia and abroad. The main guide is a good program, so every year they want to bring artists who will leave a mark on the festival with their originality and penetration, whether they are local, foreign, established or not. FKK will thus host this year two theater performances, 9 musical groups, literary talks and workshops. So far, it is known that alternative rockers will perform at the festival Leslie More, Dolenjci Generator, indie rockers Koala Voice, Serbian Alternatives repeater, rockers from Koper NOAIR, a group from Rijeka Jonathan, and the Zagreb trappers will perform as the last High5. The first theater performance that will be hosted at FKK – Festival of Culture Kostanjevica 2019 is a play with the title She would have children, a garden and fifteen rabbits drama actress Anja Novak. The acting team is also coming BETON Ltd. with the play Ich kann nicht anders, produced by Bunker.
Entry to the festival will be free of charge.
