Florideja was created as a project of vertical playhouses consisting of felt wall pockets. The innovatively designed Floridejal pockets are designed and manufactured in the home studio and workshop in Sežana and are a novelty on the Slovenian market.
Neli Štrukelj and Tilen Ule, until recently complete gardening beginners and enthusiasts embarked on a journey of exploring the mysterious world of growing plants in a slightly different, but not entirely unknown, way. Under the brand name Florida were the first in Slovenia to design and now manufacture them felt and tarpaulin pockets, from which it is possible to create a real small oasis of greenery on the walls of the living room, kitchen, bedroom, practically on any vertical surface, and the pockets are also more than suitable for attaching to the balcony railing.
The pockets are made of felt and tarpaulin. Felt absorbs water very well, but only retains as much water as the plant actually needs. Excess water evaporates or is retained at the bottom of the pocket lined with recycled truck tarp to prevent dripping. The tarpaulin is an extremely durable material that, just like felt, does not release harmful chemical impurities into the water and soil. Upright plants as well as wrapping and drooping plants and even some shrubs, ferns or palm trees will fit and adapt perfectly in the pockets.
Cleaner air in the room, domestic, (organically) grown vegetables and herbs within reach, easy gardening without excessive dirt and bending, saving time, money and space, all this is possible with just a little effort and without excessive prior knowledge, made possible by Florideja pockets.
