Since we make sure that the little one grows up big and healthy, we also have to make sure that our children eat quality food, which is wise to teach them about in their earliest years. Years ago, Jamie Oliver decided to take action, so he started the Food Revolution Day campaign, which will reach our localities for the third time this year and show the importance of education in the field of (nutrition) through various events.
Jamie Oliver is extremely concerned about children's eating habits, which is why the campaign will go around the world on May 15 this year as well Food Revolution Day. It is a global project, a campaign about healthy eating, with which we would present children with healthy and high-quality food that we eat or should eat, where it comes from and how it affects our body.
Oliver is convinced that children should be taught about (over)nutrition in order to avoid the many diseases that await them in old age due to bad eating habits. »With practical, fun and interesting education for children about healthy eating, we will provide the child with the knowledge and skills they absolutely need for a healthier and happier life. We need to make practical food education a compulsory part of every school system in the world and that is why I have started a petition calling on all G20 countries to take action," is the famous chef who is unwavering in his goal, inviting us to join many campaigns and events on Food Revolution Day.
With us, children and kindergartens on the international day Food Revolution Day on creative culinary workshops and invitation contest Kaleidoscope Institute and Healthy broth. The red thread of workshops and learning will be sauteed broccoli, which the children will learn more about, draw it as part of the competition, invent a story, poem or create a puppet, and then write down a recipe for a delicious soup in the company of other little ones, which they will also cook and then taste. This is how scrambled broccoli will visit the workshops in Ljubljana on Friday, May 15, on Saturday, May 16, in Bohinjska Bistrica, and in Štajerska on Sunday, May 17. They also dedicate their time to Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution mission in Planet Earth Society, who organized the culinary event in Izola last year, and plans for this year are still being prepared.
