Tomato

Tomato is one of the foods that should never be stored in the refrigerator. Low temperature changes the texture of tomatoes, making them floury and reducing their flavor. Tomatoes grow best at room temperature, so store them in a pantry or kitchen shelf away from direct sunlight.

Onion and garlic

Onions and garlic have a natural moisture barrier that keeps them fresh. In the refrigerator, however, this protective layer can be destroyed, leading to faster deterioration. Store them in a dry and airy environment, far away from sunlight, ideally in the pantry or kitchen.

Potatoes

Bananas
