You probably don't need to explain that baked peaches are an excellent dessert. But what happens if we add cream cheese and caramel topping? Let's get something divine and perfect for summer afternoons! Try it, you won't regret it! To top it all off, you can serve this dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Recipe: Baked peaches stuffed with cream cheese and caramel topping
Ingridients
- 4 large peaches
- 180 g of cream cheese
- 50 g caramel topping
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 medium-sized egg
- 2 regular crumb cookies
- 4 teaspoons of caramel topping
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. Using a small, sharp knife, cut off the bottom of the peach so it can stand. Then carefully hollow out its core, including the stone, so that you are left with its "framework".
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the cream cheese until smooth, add the caramel topping, vanilla extract and egg and mix well to make a creamy mixture. Then fill each peach with this, place on a small baking tray and bake for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow the baked peaches to cool to room temperature.
Before serving, crumble two cookies over the peaches and drizzle with the caramel topping. So sweet good run!
