The 2019 Ford Edge has received a new, refreshed look, with a modified front and rear end. They added a few more horsepower and introduced it with new ST equipment.
Renovated Ford Edge will have, among other things 2-liter 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine, which has 250 horsepower, which means they added an extra 5 horsepower to it. 8-speed gearbox will give drivers two more gears than the previous model. The gearbox will no longer be operated via the lever, but will be shifted with assistance rotary knob. Ford assures that they have improved the efficiency of all the engines that will be available in the redesigned Edge.
The 2019 Ford Edge has a refreshed look. LED headlights are now standard, the engine cover is slightly more convex, the appearance of the front mask has also been changed. The rear got a black molding under the rear window, which brightens up the rear part with help two-color combinations. Those who admire Ford's sportiest versions will be delighted with the ST version of the Ford Edge. This is the first time Ford has used the letters ST on any of its crossovers. As with the current Sport model, power comes from 2.7-liter gasoline V6 engine with twin turbine. The new engine is more powerful and has 335 horsepower and 515 Nm. The previous engine had 315 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque. It is with the ST-version four-wheel drive part of the standard equipment, and the visual changes to the exterior, in addition to the ST logos, further indicate that it is the most powerful of the Edges.
