Recipe – French salad:

Ingredients - French salad:

  • 300 g of potatoes
  • 200 g of mayonnaise
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g of peas (preferably fresh)
  • 150 g of carrot
  • 100 g of pickles
  • 80 g of mustard
  • 3 pinches of salt or to taste
  • 1–2 pinches of freshly ground pepper or to taste

Procedure for preparing French salad:
Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into small pieces. Peel the carrots, wash them and cut them into cubes. Cut the cucumbers into pieces in the same way. We extract the peas. Put the potatoes in the shrimp and add enough cold water to cover all the potatoes. Salt the water, bring it to a boil and cook on moderate heat/temperature until the potatoes are soft (approx. 10 minutes). In another saucepan, add carrots and peas to salted water and cook for up to 10 minutes. Drain, cool and transfer all the vegetables to a large bowl. Then we start cooking the eggs. Place them in cold water and wait for it to boil. Cook for another five minutes, then cool the eggs under cold water and peel them. Separate the yolks from the whites. Cut the latter into small cubes, while crushing the yolks. Add both to the vegetables. Add mustard and mayonnaise and salt and pepper. Mix well. Cool and serve cold. If the french salad is not sour enough, add wine vinegar or cucumber liquid. Have a good run!
