Three massive glass spheres surrounded by a jungle of trees and tropical plants are the central element of Amazon's new offices in Seattle.
It is an architectural design by the American architectural firm NBBJ, whose proposal for the new business premises of Amazon was recently accepted in Seattle. The construction of three glass spheres is starting, which will certainly become one of the recognizable signs of the city. The thirty-meter-high spheres will be able to accommodate 1,800 Amazon employees, who will be surrounded by greenery and nature in the new premises. As written in the presentation plans, the green environment has many advantages and positive qualities, even if it is not the most typical "office" environment. Three more classic buildings will be connected to the spherical sculptures, and the whole thing will be so big that there is talk of an Amazon campus on 7th Avenue.
