The Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 is still shrouded in mystery, but if rumors and patents are to be believed, we're in for one of the most exciting pieces of wearable tech in 2025. With an improved design, new sizes, advanced health analytics, a potential 10-day battery life, and artificial intelligence that's said to know more about your well-being than you do, this smart ring could become a must-have upgrade for all fitness enthusiasts - and anyone who wants to sleep better.

Although we Galaxy Ring 2 waited in vain on the January Galaxy Unpacked event, it is now rumored to debut in the summer, perhaps as early as June or July 2025. This coincides with Samsung's usual wearable device launch cycles - and with our collective yearning for techno-glitter we can wear on our fingers.

Smaller, lighter, more beautiful – and finally for every finger – Galaxy Ring 2

The first Galaxy Ring, despite its interesting concept, was limited in size. According to TechRadar and Tom's Guide, the Galaxy Ring 2 will offer sizes from 4 to 15, meaning even grandma or an uncle with a shovel's hand can wear it. It will also be thinner, more comfortable, and available in three "Titan" colors - black, silver, and gold. So you can be healthy and stylish at the same time.

A battery that doesn't give up before you do

Battery life is often the Achilles heel of smart devices. But Samsung is clearly planning a big step forward - with the help of a solid battery, the Galaxy Ring 2 is expected to last up to 10 days. That means it won't let you down in the middle of a weekend hike in the mountains or while you're sleeping, when it's actually supposed to measure... sleep.

The Health Ring: Sensors That Know You Better Than Your Therapist

The Galaxy Ring 2 is said to be a real treasure trove for anyone who wants to monitor their body. Among the most interesting features are mentioned:

  • Body temperature monitoring – with the inclusion of a new sensor, confirmed by a Samsung patent.
  • Sleep consultant – analyzes the environment and your schedule, then suggests the optimal time to go to bed (fortunately without the command “turn off TikTok”).
  • Measuring stress and mood – with respiratory analysis and AI-supported mood tracking.
  • Vascular load indicator – a new approach to monitoring cardiovascular health.
  • Monitoring antioxidants in the body – beta carotene is no longer just a word on the label of vitamin capsules, now you will measure it on your finger.

If Samsung adds blood pressure or even blood sugar monitoring (as some competitors are predicting), we will literally have a laboratory on our hands.

Artificial intelligence on your finger in the form of Galaxy Ring 2-

AI doesn't shy away from even the smallest devices – Galaxy Ring 2 will have new AI features, including these Double Pinch a gesture that will allow finger movements to be used to control things, such as rejecting a call or taking a picture.

Since the ring will of course be deeply integrated with Galaxy phones and the Samsung Health app, we can expect even more features that users of other systems may not receive.

Price without surprises

Samsung is reportedly keeping the starting price around $399 (around €370), with no monthly fee. That means you won't be paying extra to have the app tell you that you've had 4 hours of sleep and that you're stressed - which you already know, but now you'll have proof.

What else do we expect?

Users have long dreamed of smart rings that would measure blood pressure, blood sugar, maybe even dehydration or hormonal fluctuationsIf the Galaxy Ring 2 doesn't deliver everything, it's possible that Samsung will surprise us with these features in the Galaxy Ring 3. Or that we'll get them from the competition sooner.

Galaxy Ring 2: A technological ring that won't go unnoticed

The Galaxy Ring 2 is no longer just a concept – it’s a tech gadget that can rival smartwatches with the right amount of comfort, performance, and intelligence. And because it’s worn on your finger, you finally won’t have to explain why you have a watch on each hand.

If all the rumors are true, get ready—your health may start to take a turn for the worse in the summer of 2025. Until then, practice getting that new ring to fit you right.
