Game of Thrones Season 8: Everything You Need to Know

Do you already know what the 8th season of the popular series Game of Thrones brings? To make it easier for you to wait until April 14, when the premiere of the last season of Game of Thrones is announced, we have collected everything you need to know before the broadcast begins.

We waited a long time...and we finally got it! It's ahead of us Season 8 of the Game of Thrones series. We will have to wait another good month (the premiere is announced for April 14). What do you need to know before starting the series?

1. The final season will have 6 episodes. It may happen that they will therefore be longer in terms of minutes.

2. Tyrion probably won't fall in love with Daenerys, although we got the feeling in the last episode of the seventh season that Tyrion's actions are fueled by romantic feelings and jealousy.

3. Most likely, they filmed several endings in order to avoid premature disclosure of the finale or "spoilers".

4. We will see the Dragonpit again. The city authorities of Seville gave the green light for filming on the ruins of Itálica.

5. The Unsullied will fight in the snow for the first time.

6. There will be a big battle in Winterfell. Our favorite heroes - Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, Jon Snow, Brienne of Tarth, Daenerys Targarygen and Tyrion Lannister - will finally fight the Night King and the army of the dead. It's said to be the longest back-to-back fight in the history of the series, and director David Nutter promises to make you feel like you're in a superhero movie.

7. The eighth season will have a slightly more relaxed pace, so you should not have the feeling that the creators of the series are in a hurry with the big finale.

8. We can expect a larger number of new characters, although they are probably less important.

9. Melisandra will probably return for a season or two as well. In the seventh season, after having a vision of her own death, she left Westeros and went to Volantis.

10. Tormund Giantsbane survived the fall of the Wall, according to the trailer for the eighth season of the series. When we last saw him, he was fighting Viserion, and his fate was a mystery until the recent trailer.

11. The series will have a "very satisfying, but also very surprising" ending. Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister) told the Huffington Post that the end of the series was so good that he wrote to the writers, "I don't think we could have ended this story any better." He also said that this season was "everything he hoped it would be".

12. When the series of Game of Thrones will end, the prequels will come. There are supposed to be at least five of them, and Naomi Watts is supposed to star in one (The Long Night).
