The new generation of the Opel Meriva, which will be delivered to the first Slovenian customers at the end of June (pre-orders are already being collected), will certainly shake up the cards in the segment of compact minivans. The common thread that Opel's designers and engineers had in mind is flexibility with ergonomics in mind. When we met the newcomer live for the first time, who has grown compared to her predecessor, we were immediately impressed by her back door, called FlexDoors, which, unlike the usual ones, are fixed in the rear pillar and open backwards. The new door opening system - they open up to 84 degrees - primarily makes it easier for passengers to access the back seat, and young parents will also be happy about it, because their little one will be under more control when boarding. Even otherwise, sitting both in the back and in the front is comfortable even on longer routes, especially when the AGR orthopedic seats are installed, which bear the certificate of the German association for a healthy spine of the same name. The latter also awarded the certificate to merive elements such as: FlexDoors, FlexSpace (rear seat folding and adjustment system) and FlexFix (optional bike rack hidden in the rear bumper). Let's also mention the center console FlexRail, which allows you to freely place different storage areas on a special rail. Buyers will be able to choose between three petrol engines (74, 88 and 103 kW – the last two have a turbo blower) and five diesel engines (55, 70, 74, 81 and 96 kW). All of them will meet the strict Euro 5 standard. Let's also note that we will charge from 13,990 euros for the Meriva in Slovenia.
