In the heart of Italy's Motor Valley, an automotive volcano was born: the Giamaro Katla. With a 7.0-liter V12 engine with four turbochargers developing 2,128 hp (1,588 kW) and 2,008 Nm of torque, and a manual 7-speed gearbox, the Katla promises an experience that goes beyond the limits of reason.

Entering the world of madness

The Giamaro Katla is not just another hypercar; it is a manifestation of Italian passion and engineering audacity. It was conceived in Cavezzo, near Modena, where Giamaro Automobili, run by father and son Giacomo and Pierfrancesco Commendatore, created a vehicle that challenges the very foundations of the automotive world.

The heart of the Katla is a 7.0-liter V12 engine with four turbochargers, developed in collaboration with Turin-based Italtecnica. The engine uses a 120-degree “hot-vee” configuration, where the turbochargers are located inside the engine’s V-shape, allowing for better responsiveness and a lower center of gravity. Interestingly, each turbocharger powers three cylinders, contributing to the engine’s exceptional performance.

Katla offers three keys that determine the vehicle's power:

  • White key: 394–789 hp (294–586 kW)
  • Black key: 1,647 hp (1,227 kW)
  • Red key: 2,128 hp (1,588 kW)

This approach allows the driver to adjust performance according to needs and conditions.

An engineering masterpiece

The Katla chassis is based on a carbon monocoque structure that weighs just 170 kg, with a total vehicle weight of 1,450 kg. The suspension consists of CNC-machined aluminum double wishbones and adaptive dampers, complemented by electronically adjustable “heave” suspension, a rarity in road vehicles.

Grip is ensured by specially developed Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires in dimensions 265/35ZR20 at the front and 345/30ZR21 at the rear. The braking system consists of carbon-ceramic discs, which ensure reliable braking even at extreme speeds.

Personalization at the highest level

Giamaro offers customers the opportunity to fully customize their vehicle. Customers can work with engineers, including the legendary Loris Bicocchi, to adjust the suspension, steering and other components to suit their preferences and driving style.

Conclusion: for those who want a car that no one recognizes

The Giamaro Katla is more than just a hypercar; it is a work of art that combines Italian passion, engineering excellence and audacity. With its extraordinary power, advanced technology and the possibility of complete customization, it represents a new chapter in the world of supercars.

Although the price is not yet known, it is clear that the Katla is not intended for the masses, but for those looking for a unique and unforgettable driving experience. With a planned production of 30 vehicles per year and orders already received for the first year, the Giamaro Katla promises to leave an indelible mark on the automotive world.
