Gibanica represents the most important contemporary dance platform in our country, where local and foreign guests can see various contemporary dance products by local producers. At the 9th Biennale of Contemporary Slovenian Dance Art 2019, you will witness ten competitive performances selected by a three-member jury from Slovenia, France and Croatia. In addition to the performances, the organizers also prepared a presentation of book editions, two round tables and a discussion.
Since 2003 GIBANICA, biennale of contemporary dance art, represents Slovenian contemporary dance production, which for the festival is chosen by a three-member selection team (this year they were from representatives of Slovenia, France and Croatia).
Gibanica 2019 offers a selection of the best contemporary dance products from domestic producers. The local public will be on 9th biennale of contemporary Slovenian dance art mirrors ten competitive performances, which will compete for the prize Gibanice 2019 for the best show as chosen by the audience and a prize Gibanice 2019 for the best performance as selected by an expert jury.
