Russian photographer Egor Cvetkov with the project Your Face is Big Data reveals the slightly scary capabilities of facial recognition technology. To prove how easy it is to gather information about complete strangers, he took around 100 photos in the subway of St. Petersburg in six weeks complete strangers, and then with help facial recognition applications FindFace searched their profiles and data on the largest Russian social network VKontakte.
