The new Google Pixel 6 is based on a brand new chip designed by Google, named Tensor - after the processing units used in the company's data centers. Which means it's a remarkable piece of technology. The latter is designed to increase the speed and performance of phones - especially their artificial intelligence - AI. Google claims performance similar to that of the Snapdragon 888, while offering dedicated cores for security, private computing, and image processing. We believe that it will be interesting to see various comparative tests.
The main cameras are located in the characteristic rear row, with both models offering a 50-megapixel main camera that is wired with a sensor that provides 12.5 megapixels. It is accompanied by an ultra-wide camera with 12 million pixels. The Pro also has a 4x telephoto camera this time.
The standard Pixel 6 features a 6.4-inch 1080p display running at 90Hz, while the 6 Pro features a 6.7-inch 1440p display that's curved to reduce bezels and includes LTPO technology to change the refresh rate. from 10-120Hz. Data storage starts at 128GB for both models.
And the price? The basic model will be available in Europe for around 890 euros. Those with the maximum storage of 512MB are for around 1,290 euros.
