Gotoky: a smart walkie-talkie from a Slovenian start-up company

Gotoky rhymes with gnocchi. And also with hips, children and tense bows. But it has absolutely nothing in common with the above. But it also rhymes with walkie-talkie, which is actually Gotoky. These communication devices are less common among us, and you might even think that time has run over them, but this is clearly not the case.

Gotoky D1 it is smart ones walkie-talkie, which was produced by the Slovenian start-up Gotoky.

It is a device that enables communication without mobile infrastructure, as it works via Bluetooth connection. It has a working range of within a radius of 15 km (0.8 km in the city and 4 km in the mountains). Without charging it will be Gotoky lasted 72 hours, which will be enough for a long weekend in the hills or some other areas with poor coverage of the phone signal. When the battery runs out, connect the Gotoky D1 to power via the mini USB input. We connect the device to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, on which we install the application earlier. Thus, the mobile phone will use Gotoky D1 instead of its own frequency transmitters. You will be able to make calls or send private messages, both 1-on-1 and in a group.

Early bird the price is 119 euros. On September 19, 2017, they will launch a Kickstarter campaign. Let someone else say that Slovenians are not from force!
