Recipe: Great vegan Snickers ice cream

Vegan Snickers ice cream is a real poetry of flavors and a perfect combination between Snickers chocolate and tempting ice cream that makes us drool. The best of all is that you can prepare the dessert yourself at home.

Although this one vegan recipe, some ingredients such as ice cream can be easily replaced with milk ice cream and thus adjust the recipe as desired. We can also experiment a bit with the selection ice cream flavor, we can choose any vegan vanilla ice cream with a neutral taste, or vegan ice cream with taste caramels. Even flavors such as chocolate or coffee can create a harmony of flavors in our mouths, so the choice is left only to us and our wishes. Of course, it is not necessary to buy ice cream, as you can easily make it at home with just a few simple ingredients. It is best that the ice cream is already in at least a little square baths, so that we can cut it to slices. Now let's roll up our sleeves!

Recipe for great vegan Snickers ice cream

Ingridients:

  • 1 tub of vegan ice cream to our taste
  • 18 pitted dates for making date caramel (see procedure)
  • Half a cup of roasted salted peanuts
  • 340 g of chopped vegan chocolate
  • 15 ml coconut oil (optional)

Process:

Cut the ice cream into 1-1.5 cm slices and place them on baking paper and freeze for about 30 minutes to harden. In the meantime, we can prepare date caramel. Place pitted dates in a blender at high speed and blend. If they dried dates, first soak them in water for 10 minutes and then drain them beforehand. Mix the dates in a blender until you get a creamy paste (you can add a teaspoon or two of warm water to speed it up) and then add a little salt (to our taste). Take the ice cream slices out of the freezer and spread the date caramel and a small handful of peanuts on them, then put the slices back in the freezer. In the meantime, you can microwave ovens (30 seconds) melt the chocolate and coconut oil. Take the slices out of the freezer again and sprinkle them liberally on top chocolate (leave some chocolate for the end). Let's sprinkle them quickly so that the slices don't melt too much and then put them back in the freezer for 30 minutes. When the slices are hard, dip the lower part in remaining chocolate and finally put them back in the freezer. Let's serve them directly from the freezer, just like normal ice cream, because they melt. Have a good run!
