H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsports have joined forces to create two limited edition watches: the mechanical Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition and the hybrid smartwatch Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition. Both watches combine Swiss precision and racing technology, representing a new milestone in the world of luxury watches.
In a world where smartwatches are often synonymous with fitness trackers and email notifications, H. Moser & Cie. took a bold step with the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition watch. In collaboration with Alpine Motorsports have created two watches that are not only a tribute to the aesthetics of Formula 1, but also functional tools for racers and mechanics.
Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition: Mechanical elegance at the highest level
This watch is a real eye-catcher and a technological gem. It is designed with a 42.3 mm stainless steel case with a PVD blue coating that reflects the Alpine team colors. The skeletonized dial reveals the HMC 700 caliber, the result of a collaboration with Agenchor. Special features include V-shaped bridges reminiscent of racing car suspension and a rotor modeled after the rim of the Alpine A110. The flyback chronograph function allows for a quick reset, which is crucial in the world of racing.
Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition: A smartwatch for professionals
If you thought so Moser will never make a smartwatch, think again. This hybrid watch combines an analog time display with a digital display that activates when needed. Functions include GMT, perpetual calendar, split-seconds chronograph and a special “F1 mode” with countdown timers and notifications. It was designed in collaboration with Swiss company Sequent and has a one-year battery life in basic mode. The watch was developed with the needs of Alpine team mechanics in mind, where communication is key.
Limited Edition: Only 200 sets for selected lucky winners
Both watches are only available in a set, limited to 200 pieces. The set is priced at CHF 59,000 excluding VAT (63,332 EUR ). What's special is that the Mechanics Edition is also available to owners of previous Streamliner Alpine models from 2024.
Conclusion: When tradition meets innovation
With this project, H. Moser & Cie. has proven that even traditional watch manufacturers can successfully enter the world of smart technologies without losing their identity. The collaboration with Alpine Motorsports is not just a marketing move, but a real contribution to improving the team's performance in racing. This pair of watches is proof that the future of horology lies in combining the best of both worlds.
