The legendary double-decker buses in London are stealing the limelight these days with Harry, a self-driving bus that transports passengers without the presence of a driver. Over the next few weeks, around 100 local residents living near the O2 arena will test drive the prototype vehicle in East London, in the Greenwich area, home to, among other things, the famous astronomical observatory and through which the Prime Meridian (Greenwich Meridian) passes.
Is the driver on the bus? In a bus with a name Harry you will look for it in vain. In London's Greenwich these days it transports passengers a bus without a driver, a steering wheel, and gas and brake pedals. The pocket bus was made by the company Oxbotica, and it was put into use by a London public transport provider.
It is equipped with high-resolution cameras and laser sensors, and the "driver" is an advanced computer system or artificial intelligence.

It is not among the fastest - the final speed is 16 km/h – but because he drives in an area reserved for pedestrians and cyclists (similar to Cavalier in Ljubljana), it can't be faster either. If the novelty successfully passes the tests, they will self-driving buses part of London's traffic landscape from 2019 onwards.
