Harry Potter is coming back, this time in the form of a series: HBO will try to bring the magic back to the small screen

The Harry Potter series is coming!

Although we thought that the Harry Potter saga was long over, the Hollywood Reporter has announced the news that negotiations have begun to make a Harry Potter series. This is great news for all fans of the wizard and his friends, although it is not yet known who the screenwriters are. Therefore, we are still waiting for the details of the cooperation between the streaming content provider HBO Max and the production company Warner Bros.

Such a development could be somewhat expected, since interest in this character from the series of books and then films is still high. However, in the world of Harry Potter, things are not so ideal: all new projects within the franchise will be further subject to the watchful eyes of followers, depending on the extent to which she is involved JK Rowling. She recently received an avalanche of negative comments from her loyal fans at the expense of her transphobic tweets. This is exactly why everyone is wondering what her role will be in this project, but the fact is that she still owns the franchise and still has the final say.

Since the series is still in its infancy, we can only guess what it will focus on, whether the plot will follow the novels chronologically, take a step back or forward, we will meet new witches and wizards...

What the Harry Potter series will focus on is not yet known.

While we're still waiting for answers, for now we'll conclude by commenting that after the success of series with a similar theme (Mandalorian, WandaVision), it's perfectly clear why Warner Bros. back in the game! Of course, we will continue to keep you updated on all current events related to this series.
