In August, a new book by the most famous living Japanese writer, Haruki Murakami, was published in English, entitled Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki. Now, the news has come to light that another of his books will be published in English in December - a shorter work entitled "The Strange Library".
The sixty-five-year-old Japanese writer has won many awards Haruki Murakami, who became famous with novels Norwegian forest, Kafka on the shore, 1Q84, Love my sputnik and others, has been in the spotlight again recently (especially in English-speaking countries).

Although The Strange Library was published in Japan in 2008, the first English edition in December will contain illustrations drawn especially for it. The story is about a boy who is locked in a library by an old man along with a man dressed as a sheep who makes delicious donuts and a girl who can talk with her hands. The old man wants the boy to cram as many books into his head as he wants to eat his brain later and absorb as much information as possible. A story that could hardly be called everyday.
