The Hennessey company, known for the venom GT model, which recently briefly stole the record for the fastest production car of all time from Bugatti's veyron, has rolled up its sleeves and is rapidly developing a new Hennessey venom F5 model that, instead of its predecessor's 440 km/h , was able to reach speeds of up to 475 kilometers per hour.
Hennessey venom F5, as the new monster is called, also got a much more modern exterior, with which it can now compete with models such as LaFerrari and McLaren P1, and great emphasis was placed on reducing the car's weight and increasing the pressure to the ground, i.e. downforce.
The F5 thus means an upgrade of the original Venom, for which many components have been improved, yet the weight has been kept below 1,350 kilograms (the dry weight for driving a ready-to-drive vehicle is all 1,315 kilograms).
The drive is taken care of by a renewed one 7.0 liter V8 supported by two turbo chargers, which is said to be capable of a maximum force of over 1,400 kilograms, which, according to American experts, should be sufficient for the desired 475 km/h.
Of course, they won't know if this is true until they build it and test its maximum speed under suitable circumstances, but in the meantime they announced that produced 30 copies of this vehicle, at a base price of $1.3 million, which is a little less than million euros.
