Officially the fastest car in the world = HENNESSEY VENOM GT

The Hennessey Venom GT has become the fastest car in the world, as part of a test conducted by topgear.com. The results are absolutely fantastic, as the car reached a final speed of 435.3 km/h on the Kennedy Space Center test track, which is 4 kilometers long.

At Hennessey Venom GT it is actually a conversion Lotus Exige, into which they built 7.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine. The extremely low weight of the car and the horsepower/weight ratio enable the car to deliver incredible results. Namely, under the hood of the engine hides almost unbelievable 1.244 horsepower.

It is interesting that at Hennessey the car that set the record compiled for 970,000 euros, while the previous record holder Bugatti Veyron Super Sport stood almost 6.000.000 euros.
