In a two-century-old karst house not far from Sežana, you can find uniquely equipped tourist apartments - Hiša Orel.
In the village of Križ, located just a few kilometers from Sežana, you can find a more than 200-year-old karst house, Orel House. With great respect and effort, the owners renovated it in the traditional spirit, with local karst materials and breathed a new program into it. House Orel thus offers its guests all the romance of tradition and the comfort of modern times.
The rural villa has thus become a refuge for couples and travelers looking for a peaceful break in the embrace of the Karst. Upon arrival, you are first greeted by a large borjač, a closed courtyard, from where you can go to the terrace, which offers views of the nearby vineyards, meadows and forests. There are two tourist apartments in the annex, one suitable for up to 5 people, the other for up to 4.
Spa center with saunas
Each of the apartments has its own bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and access to the terrace, where you can relax and lie by the massage pool. In addition, there is also an outdoor pool on the viewing terrace, where you can take a dip in the summer heat. Within the accommodation, the owners have also designed a spa center with a Finnish and infrared sauna, where you can relax.
The house is furnished mainly with original antique furniture and works of art, carefully selected by the owners, themselves connoisseurs and passionate collectors. In the central part of the house you will find a large living room with a fireplace, next to it there is a kitchen with a dining room and access to a terrace with a pergola. There are three more bedrooms and bathrooms.
