At the beginning of September, Metafonik, the new album of the collective The Stroj, was released. The team, which uses waste plastic or metal barrels, worn-out machine parts and various work tools to create music, has taken another step in its musical development.
On the new album, The Stroj present themselves with a strongly updated and electrified sound that expresses their unique vision of retro-futuristic music and creates a soundscape for the times to come. A new music product can be ours by answering a simple question:
The name of the band The Stroj also hides a pun, namely in the English language. What kind?
a.) D'stroj, as a device that rotates forever.
b.) Destroy, as in destroying.
c.) Perestroika, as the birth of something new.
