At the HOFER company, in cooperation with the Society for the Reading Badge of Slovenia - ZPMS Slovenian first-graders were gifted with a book for the fifth time this September. This year, first-graders in Slovenia and Slovenian children outside its borders will receive a picture book by writer Svetlana Makarovič and illustrator Tomaž Lavrič, Kuzma the Shrew receives a prize.
Reading is knowledge, and the company HOFER Slovenia is also aware of this, as part of the Radi beremo project, the above-mentioned campaign will take place over five years donated more than 125,000 books in cooperation with the Reading Badge. This year, more than 21,000 first-graders will sit in the school desks, and the mischievous elf Kuzma will delight them with elf-like opportunities to read.
For easier entry into school
The first steps at school are a major turning point for children and parents and the beginning of acquiring many skills. HOFER, with more than 1,800 employees, gave all first-graders of its employees an additional gift to make it easier for them to enter school. More than 160 children received a gift bag with school supplies, where, of course, there was also a sweet surprise.
