When ultra-comfort meets Italian extravagance, it's not just a fashion moment, it's a style explosion. Hoka X Marni has created a collaboration that will have every sneakerhead, fashionista, and sports aesthete talking. But will you really wear them for a run? Hardly. But you'll look like you could.

Sneakers are in 2025 what handbags were in 2010: a status symbol, an expression of personality and of course an indispensable part of every Instagram posts with or without filters. And now that Hoka X Marni has unveiled the Bondi B3LS, we've officially entered a new era of "dad" sneakers that are anything but boring.

Hoka is known for its technical precision, extreme comfort and soles that look like they were designed for walking on the moon. And Marni? Marni is a fashion institution that is not afraid of color, volume and slightly crazy silhouettes. Together they created sneakers that are puffy, wide, bold and… surprisingly cute.

Hoka X Marni: Model Bondi B3LS

Model Bondi B3LS features a chunky EVA sole, a responsive rubber design, and a padded polyester upper. But the most fun detail? The three pairs of laces that come with each model: flat, solid-colored ones for those “serious” days, tone-on-tone laces for minimalists, and wide, colorful ones if you’re feeling like the true art director of your day.

Color options? Poinciana (red), Bracken (charcoal), Tourmaline (blue) and Straw (beige). Or in other words: something for every mood and every feed color palette.

An improved version of the original B3LS, the MARNI x HOKA version features a highly responsive rubber outsole, cushioned EVA sockliners, and a lightly rubberized and softly padded polyester upper for enhanced comfort and durability. The design is completed with three pairs of laces: solid-colored flats, tone-on-tone laces, and wider, multi-colored laces for a bold, contrasting look.

An explosion of energy and design freedom

Francesco Risso, creative director at Marni, described the collaboration as “an explosion of energy and design freedom, where technique meets poetic imagination.” And indeed, these sneakers aren’t just for the track, but for the catwalks, the streets of Milan and, let’s be honest, probably most of all for avocado toast cafes.

But before you grab them, get your credit card ready: the price tag is a cool $395. It's not cheap, but if you want your footwear to tell a story of comfort, boldness, and trendy edginess, it might be a price worth paying.
