Intoxicating hot chocolate is perfect for cold winter days.
If you want to conjure up a special feeling of warmth that will remind you of your childhood, we definitely recommend making a real homemade hot chocolate with cream.
Ingredients for 1 pot:
- 1 dcl Alpine Mu Cuisine whipping cream
- 0.5 dl of Mu Cuisine sweet cream
- half a pot of fresh Mu milk
- 50 g of your favorite chocolate
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of sugar (if you have dark chocolate or want a sweeter hot chocolate)
- spices as desired (cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, orange peel...)
- for decoration: chocolate crumbs, pecans, roasted hazelnuts, etc.
Preparation:
In a small pot, mix 2 tablespoons of milk with cornstarch. Mix until the mass is free of lumps. Pour the remaining milk into the shrimp, add Mu Cuisine sweet cream, spices and heat until boiling. Reduce the heat, mix cornstarch with milk, sugar and broken chocolate with a whisk. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the hot chocolate thickens to the desired consistency. Whip the Mu Cuisine alpine whipping cream firmly and sprinkle it over the hot chocolate. Garnish with crumbs and serve the drink immediately.
