The Type R label is celebrating 25 years of delighting many car enthusiasts. In 1997, the Honda Civic also put it on and made a real little boom. It was a time when car conversions were skyrocketing and every youngster dreamed of the then unattainable Honda Civic Type R.
Honda Civic Type R is denoted by the letter R sports or racing (racing) ghost. The latest Type R from the Honda family proves this statement by holding the current Nürburgring record for front-wheel drive cars in 7 minutes and 43.8 seconds. The new Honda Civic Type R is truly new because it is based on a new platform, has a sophisticated powertrain, a refined suspension system and offers three driving modes so that it can be taken to the store, to the runway or to pick up the children from kindergarten.
The design is tangible aerodynamic, which lets us know the front diffuser and also the huge rear spoiler. Even otherwise, the car has a lot of details, which cannot even be noticed in a quick inspection. The flat bottom of the car further increases aerodynamics and allows the Civic Type R to reach speed up to 272 km/h. Not only advanced aerodynamics, a lot is also expected from engine. This four-cylinder engine has 2 liters of displacement and VTEC turbo technology. It has 320 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. This is enough to propel the Type R from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. Shifting remains classic racing with use 6-speed manual gearbox. A triple exhaust system reduces resonant noise and creates a distinctive Type R sound.
The Honda Civic Type R is available in six sporty exciting colors. The interior is also accordingly sporty, where they stand out Type R sports seats and meters with a red color scheme. We have two types of equipment available. The Type R has a base price 41,990 euros, even better equipped, especially with a bunch of assistance systems and some visual accessories, and the Type R GT PACK costs 43,990 euros. The price is tempting, and we're likely to see the new Civic Type R on the road more often than its predecessors.
