Hong Kong it's just like New York one of those cities that never sleeps. The Chinese city, with one of the highest population densities in the world, is famous for its towering skyscrapers and is one of the world's most important economic centers. An almost eighty-year-old Chinese photographer, actor and director Fan Ho , who was born in Shanghai, moved to Hong Kong with his family as a small child. He has been a self-taught photographer for the past 60 years received more than 280 international awards, which confirm that his photos are real the work of a superb artist.

Also a series of photos "Hong Kong Yesterday" is without a doubt top notch. Beautiful black and white photos of Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s they take us back to a time when time in Hong Kong was slower than it is today and when the noise from the streets was not so great. Even if through European eyes Hong Kong seems culturally and physically distant to us, through the photographs in the Hong Kong Yesterday series it comes closer to us, as it appears to us as a place where thousands of people's destinies are intertwined, which from a distance look so very small.
