Hope: an electric scooter like you've never seen before

Industrial designer Samuel Aguiar specialized in the automotive field, but apparently he is also no stranger to the motorcycle field. It took four years to transform the Polish VX-1 maxi scooter. As a fruit of his imagination, probably the most unusual scooter named Hope was created.

Maxi scooter Hope uses the same electric drive, as the VX-1 has. This means that its maximum speed is 120 km/h, and with a full battery, it is able to drive up to the theoretical ones 280 kilometers. The designer says it is a Hope scooter a mix between an old Porsche 356, a modern iPhone and a fantasy Pokémon. At first there were sketches, then 3D-models, which later moved to the stage of real production. The basic frame of the scooter is made of steel rods, to which the fiberglass components are attached. The front and back are covered in black, while the central part has glitter aluminum surface. The part around the steering wheel was made from carbon fiber, and the meters were installed in laser cut piece of aluminum.
The original 1- and 14-inch wheels have been replaced with 17-inch wheels and installed Brembo braking system. Hope certainly is one of the most interesting electric maxi scooters, which uses a bunch of lightweight, advanced and modern materials. There is no doubt that all heads will turn for him, just as there is no doubt that every passerby will be happy to look at him.
