The hotel offers a view not only of the nearby Sava River, the villages of Valburga and Smlednik, and the Old Castle of Smlednik with Kalvarija, but also the central ridge of the Kamnik Alps, as well as Karavanke and the Julian Alps with Triglav. Travelers with motorhomes are always welcome guests at the Kanu Hotel parking lot, as they can stay here for a day or two or as long as they want. The hotel is an excellent starting point for one-day trips around Alpine Slovenia. In front of it, in the large parking lot, there is also a service station for motorhomes (electricity, water, sanitary block), so that you can take good care of your mobile home. For the youngest, there is a children's playground and a zoo with horses, cows and poultry next to it. You can also try your hand at a riding school. The hotel has a large restaurant that can accommodate 180 guests in two dining rooms and a large panoramic covered, glazed and heated terrace over the Sava River, so it is suitable for organizing parties for large groups.
