Their period-decorated interior indicates just such an approach to food, which is ensured by the multi-awarded Marko Pavčnik, who leads his team of cooking virtuosos. Top waiters and an educated sommelier ensure a unique culinary experience. Given that the restaurant accommodates eighty guests, the location is ideal for various banquets or celebrations, but we will most often indulge ourselves in a more intimate atmosphere. They offer lunches all week in Europe, where we have a choice of "meat gourmet" or "fish gourmet". The offer changes depending on the season, but they are also loyal to the permanent offer. So we can start the feast with goose liver or buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes and basil. If you are a fan of soups, you must try the beef with frittata or potato with truffle oil and shrimp, and follow the taste of truffles with stewed octopus on truffle puree. We might be tempted by the toasted capesanta with cauliflower cream and raisins and capers. The fish part of the menu is based on a daily selection of fresh fish, but you can also opt for tuna steak, sea bass, trout or shrimp. When it comes to meat dishes, we stop at beef steak or roast beef taljati, and we are also offered a veal medallion with port wine and goose liver. For a sweet ending, Marko Pavčnik's team offers us a range of desserts, from chocolate mousse to panna cotta to English lemon pie.
