Breakfast

Oatmeal is a great choice. You can flavor your meal with maple syrup (30 ml of syrup has around 100 calories) or use four times the amount of unsweetened apple cider instead (120 ml has around 51 calories). If you keep this up for the entire week, you'll not only save 343 calories, but you'll also consume 9.1 grams of fiber.

Morning or afternoon snack

Apples are full of flavor and are therefore a suitable choice for a snack or for those moments when hunger strikes. A large apple has about 120 calories and contains 5.5 grams of fiber. Due to the higher water and fiber content, we will be full until the next meal and thus successfully avoid snacks with more calories.

Dessert

Half a cup of chocolate ice cream has about 250 calories, two homemade chocolate chip cookies have about 178 calories and a bar of natural dark chocolate has about 300 calories. If you like to treat yourself to sweets every day, then it is better to choose a low-calorie version of sweets. Slice a small apple (about 80 calories), pour a spoonful of honey over it (about 64 calories) and sprinkle with some cinnamon. The entire meal will have around 144 calories. Alternatively, you can remove the core from the apple, fill it with chopped walnuts and raisins, cover it with a small amount of maple syrup, bake it in the oven and enjoy a slightly more decadent dessert.
