Daily cleaning of the glass ceramic hob
It is best to wipe the glass-ceramic plate at least once a day or after each use to prevent food residues from accumulating on it. You will need it for daily cleaning microfiber cloth, distilled white vinegar, water, spray bottle.
1. Wait for the panel to cool down completely. If you clean it while it is still warm, it can be damaged.
2. Fill a spray bottle with a mixture of distilled white vinegar and water. Spray the solution liberally on the surface of the hob, wait a few minutes and wipe it off with a microfiber cloth.
3. Do not use rough sponges for cleaning, as they can damage the glass.
Deep cleaning of the glass ceramic hob
If you haven't cleaned the glass ceramic hob for a long time, it probably needs a more thorough cleaning. For cleaning you will need a large towel or several tea towels, baking soda, a soft scrubbing sponge, two microfiber cloths, distilled white vinegar, water, and a spray bottle.
1. When the plate is completely cold, sprinkle baking soda over the entire surface.
2. Soak a towel or washcloths in hot water, wring them out and place them on the plate so that they cover the entire surface.
3. Leave the cloths in place for 15 minutes, the combination of moisture, heat and baking soda will help break down the grease.
4. After 15 minutes, remove the cloths and gently rub with a soft sponge - you can also buy one for cleaning the glass ceramic plate.
5. After the process is finished, spray the board with a solution of vinegar and water and wipe it with a microfiber cloth.
6. Then, with another dry cloth, wipe the panel dry in circular motions until it is shiny and smooth.
