Daily change and correct selection of socks and shoes

The first step is to change your socks and shoes every day. For socks, choose natural materials such as cotton, as they allow the skin to breathe, which reduces sweating and thus also the possibility of bacterial development.

Give priority when choosing shoes leather models. If your shoes are not leather, consider purchasing leather insoles to help absorb sweat and prevent unpleasant odors from forming.

Cleaning and ventilation

Socks should be washed regularly, and shoes should also be well ventilated and dried. It is important that between wearing different pairs of shoes, at least 24 hours, as this allows the shoes to dry completely and thus prevent the growth of bacteria.

For sports shoes, it is considered that they should be washed regularly and choose models that provide good ventilation. You can also use wash pads that absorb sweat and prevent unpleasant odors.

Emphasis on personal hygiene

As the saying goes, hygiene is the best medicine. Many people shower every day, but neglect to thoroughly clean their feet. It is important to wash your feet thoroughly, including the soles.

Don't just rely on the soapy water that runs down your legs during the shower. Regular foot washing with a shampoo or soap that kills bacteria will significantly reduce the chance of unpleasant odors developing.
