Protect your shoes properly before use
We advise you to properly protect your shoes before using them in the snow and to renew the application if necessary - protective agents are volatile. To protect already worn shoes, first clean them well and dry them at room temperature. Then cover them with a protective cream and wait half an hour. Finally, peel and protect them with an impregnation treatment.
Care after wearing in salty snow
When you arrive at your destination, gently clean your shoes with a damp paper towel.
Remove salty stains with...
Remove salty stains with a mixture of water and vinegar. Pour a tablespoon of vinegar into a cup of water and dip a clean cleaning cloth in the mixture. Clean your shoes with this and let them dry.
Make sure your shoes are in good shape
Stuff wet shoes with newspaper, which will absorb excess moisture and help the shoes keep their shape. Do not place shoes under a radiator, as direct heat can destroy the leather and cause unsightly cracks in the leather.
