Fruits
Bananas, pears, tomatoes and melon they will stay fresh the longest (3-5 days) if left unwrapped on the kitchen counter. It is different with apples, for which it is best if we store them in the drawers of the refrigerator, where they will last up to 3 weeks. It is also best to leave in the refrigerator drawers berries (it will stay fresh for 3-5 days) and grapes in a plastic bag, which will last 1-2 weeks. Avocado, plums, peaches and nectarines it is best to leave them on the counter, but once they soften, they should be stored in the refrigerator, where they will last up to 5 days. Citrus fruits it is best stored on the refrigerator shelf (up to 2 weeks), but if you cut them in half, they will remain good for another 2 days wrapped in plastic. It is best to wrap a halved banana in aluminum foil, and a halved avocado will last a day or so in the refrigerator if we squeeze a lemon on it and wrap it in plastic foil.
