The most high-tech recovery shoe you can wear in the airport queue.

Forget ice baths and those ugly air boots from physiotherapy. The Nike Hyperboot is here – smart, hot and compressive. Yes, compressive. And your ankle will love it.

Welcome to an era where technology not only tracks your steps, but literally compresses, warms, and regenerates them. Nike and Hyperice have decided to transform compression boots – usually hidden behind the curtains of physiotherapy offices – into something you actually want to wear – the Hyperboot by Nike × Hyperice. Dear fashionistas and athletes – we present to you the Hyperboot.

This ~$900 wonder combines the best of Hyperice's labs (Normatec compression technology) with that thermal magic from their Venom series. Translated: your feet will get an air massage while they're enveloped in the warmth of a hot water bottle, all compressed technology in a sneaker. And it's stylish too – the Hyperboot by Nike × Hyperice.

Since this is 2025, it's no surprise that everything is controlled by buttons on the heel - three levels of heat, three levels of compression, and yes, you can heat just your left foot if your right is more "cool". For real tech-head and Bluetooth connection to the app and the possibility of personalization, because… of course. Over-the-air updates included. Tesla for your soles, basically.

Hyperboot by Nike × Hyperice: From Olympic Stars to TSA Approval

The Hyperboot didn't come about overnight. It took two years of testing, including with Olympic athletes in Paris, including Sha'Carri Richardson, who said the shoes were a "game changer" for travel. And while we're still waiting for the Gucci x Hyperboot collab, it's already pretty close aesthetically.

Interestingly, Hyperboot isn't just for post-workout recovery, it's also designed for "pre-coverage" - a fancy word for warming up before a workout. NFL star Jayden Daniels, for example, uses it before every workout. If that's not a good enough endorsement, we don't know what is.

Specifications for those who are not yet sure:

  • Heat therapy: 3 levels, for everything from light caress to “hot as your ex”
  • Compression: 3 levels because your feet are not one size fits all
  • Battery: Up to 1.5 hours in full power mode, or 8 hours with air massage only
  • Weight: 1.7 kg per shoe (fitness while walking)
  • Material: Phylon EVA – a fancy name for comfort without compromise
  • Mobility: TSA-approved – meaning you can carry it through security checks

Price and availability

The Hyperboot will be available from May 17, 2025 for a modest 899 US greenbacks. In Europe? Probably the end of the year. Until then, you can dream or ask a friend from New York to bring them back for you as the best souvenir ever.

Conclusion:  If regeneration has only meant a shower and a protein shake to you, you've clearly been living in the previous decade. Hyperboot is the future. It's a statement. And, let's be honest, a pretty cool excuse to finally buy something that makes your feet smarter than your watch.
