Iceland 2019: ice sculptures in festive Ljubljana

He is coming to Ljubljana Frozen 2019! A dozen outstanding international ice artists carved, sawed, carved, sanded and smoothed for a month a record 60 tons of ice blocks. This is how the extraordinary ice creations were created, which we will be able to admire at the Congress Square until January 6, 2020, namely every day between 10:00 and 21:00.

This year's ice story is based on the history of Ljubljana. You will find in the Ice Land pile drivers, Romans and also famous Plečnik's architecture. It will add to the fairy tale of New Year's time ice dragon – this time in steampunk implementation, you will also be able to sit down in ice antique car or take pictures on ice Roman chariots. Iceland also has real ones ice bar, to warm you up with hot chocolate, fragrant mulled wine or tea. For the youngest and the young at heart, they took care of entertainment on the longest, 5-meter long ice slide!

Since the Land of Ice is in an indoor facility, you can visit it in all weather conditions. It covers 200 square meters, and the room has a constant temperature of -4 degrees Celsius, so it is warm put on your shoes and get dressed. For the more "frozen" ones, they also have one at the entrance thermal cloaks.
